The 37TH Annual Big Dry Angus Ranch Bull Sale will be held April 17, 2025, at Glasgow Stockyards, Glasgow, MT. We’ll offer approximately 80 yearling bulls, 5 registered heifer calves, and 10 commercial heifer calves.
Certainly, one of the most used claims seed stock providers say is “we run our cattle just as the commercial producer does”, and we do our best to follow this timeless adage.
Our bulls are developed on the ranch, bunk-fed a growing pellet from Cenex Harvest States (CHS), and free choice ground hay. By feeding the bulls ourselves, we know the bulls as we see them at least twice a day and can monitor disposition, soundness, and health.
As our customers run their cattle in big pastures, our bulls are developed in a 300-acre pasture where the bulls are given plenty of room to exercise and travel.
Our bulls are grown well but are far from feedlot fat. Our customers report that our bulls maintain body condition and soundness better when compared to other breeders’ bulls.
We freeze brand the bulls with their permanent identification, because ear tags do fall out.
The bulls are also vaccinated and boosted for foot rot. All bulls are parent and genomic verified for customer confidence.
We trim the bulls ourselves, giving us another insight to their disposition.
